We stopped here on the drive to the city. Arrived just 30 minutes before they were due to close, but they didn't rush us at all, and made us feel right at home. Both the owner (who we really enjoyed meeting) and the guy taking our order and serving were super friendly. Love that they have many interesting and delicious veggie options. The food was delicious, with very generous portions. More than enough to take some home. They even sent us on our way with a bag of complimentary churros. Can't recommend this place highly enough, and can't wait for our next visit. Thanks guys!

YUM!!! I will never pass this place without getting a taco. The homemade corn tortillas were so freaking good, and the fact that everything is gluten free (with the exception of burritos and quesadillas) is a celiac's dream. The Baja fish tacos were my personal favorite but literally every single kind we tried was amazing. Also the gluten free churro bites were great too.

Cute little place where food is bursting with flavors and the staff that is serving food, is full of warmth. I dined here recently with my family on our way to Boston. Everything we tried was so good, fresh and authentic. A must visit restaurant.

This restaurant had creative, unique Mexican cuisine that is mostly gluten free. My wife had the Birria Bowl and it is pure comfort food. I had the special Watermelon salad that was had elements of the Luchador Salad and Cobb Salad. Service is very friendly and helpful. Love the Luchador style.

I seriously don’t understand how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. The food is absolutely incredible, and hands down the best of this specific cuisine that I’ve ever had anywhere. It tastes exactly like you’d expect a home cooked meal would, and every single thing we’ve tried, you just know the ingredients are super fresh and so much time was put into making every single thing on the menu special. This place is exactly what this area of town needed- and we will continue to recommend it (and keep coming back ourselves)!!

The tacona cantina is a real jem. Their menu is not it is not 100% gluten-free but is predominantly gluten free. The entrees are not the standard Mexican fair they're actually relatively creative and extremely healthy. The staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. I had the kale quinoa salad. And my wife had the Birtia tacos. We were both delighted we shared the street corn and it was also amazing. I'm really happy to have found this place. My wife and I will be returning.

I used to live in LIC, NYC by a Michelin star restaurant called Casa Enrique. Well, this place is BETTER than that! The chicken tamales, birria tacos, and guacamole are always amazing. The margaritas are delicious. This place isn’t really about atmosphere, though everyone who works there is lovely, it’s more about good food that is always on point.

Taconah Cantina is a hidden gem. The poblano soup is absolutely amazing. It is rich, creamy, and full of flavor. I also had the birria and it was incredibly delicious, tender, and packed with savory goodness. Do not leave without trying their sweet potato fries. They are easily the best in the state. Service was fast and super helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I cannot wait to go back.
